Cutest shark bait ever

I'm behind on posting, but there has been a lot going on lately between jewelry parties, mock field trips, Colin's birthday, planning for a weekend camping trip and a million other things. Addison's class was supposed to make a trip to the Pumpkin Patch on Friday, but the rain messed things up a bit. Addison was devastated, so instead, Laiken, Addison and I went to the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science, enjoyed a picnic lunch at Lefleur's Bluff park, did a little shopping and then finished off the afternoon with some ice cream. It was a wonderful girl's day out. Saturday, we celebrated Colin's birthday and enjoyed the morning downtown at the Fall Festival, played outside with sidewalk chalk and then cheered the Rebels to victory. It was a beautiful day to play outdoors. Sunday, the kids were supposed to have mini session pics made on the Canton Square, but poor Jeanelle was sick so pics were postponed. We had plans to meet the family at Papitos in Madison for Colin's birthday, so we kept our lunch plans despite the pics being postponed and headed over to Madison at noon on Sunday. We enjoyed a great lunch and I made Colin's favorite homemade brownies with Texas sheet cake icing for dessert. Yum! (Pics from birthday lunch to follow in later post). Here are a few pics from our weekend...
