Colin and I very rarely have the opportunity to get dressed up anymore...much less take a decent picture together, but this past Saturday we got fancied up and headed to the Engineer Castle Ball. Okay, let me rephrase that...I had to work the event and I dragged Colin there as my date. Castle Ball is an annual event sponsored by the 412th Engineer Command. All of the other engineer organizations in Vicksburg---ERDC, Vicksburg District, MVD/MRC and the 168th all sit on the committee and participate as well. ERDC had the luxury of hosting this year, which meant lots of work for me. However, I can't complain too much. Everything went well in the end and it was a nice evening!
