Colin and I spent time with our new niece, Emma Suzanne, on Saturday afternoon. It was pouring all afternoon, so it was a nice, lazy day to lounge around with family. Emma enjoyed the rain and slept most of the afternoon. She cried the first time I picked her up, but when I handed her over to Colin....she completely passed out into a sound sleep. Usually, we have the opposite effect on children and they cry when I hand them to Colin. Go figure!
