The countdown is on....we leave on Friday afternoon to head to Perdido Key and we are very excited for several reasons. For one, work has been insane lately, so we will both be glad to have a break. Second, this will be Addison's first trip to the beach, so we are excited about taking lots of pictures and watching her expression as she discovers sand for the first time. Both my parents and Colin's parents are going with us, as well as Colin's sister, her husband, their three children and Colin's brother's two children, so we are anxious to spend time with family. We started packing yesterday and it looks like we might need a U-haul to get down there. Between beach umbrellas, chairs, towels, Addison's stuff, baby floats, etc....it's pretty hilarious how much stuff we have to take. This past weekend, we went to a birthday party, a ballet recital and a few other places. All in all, it was a great weekend...just a little busy. Here are a few pictures of Addison riding the 4-wheeler with my dad, her practicing her new trick (waving) before church on Sunday and a few pics from the birthday party.
