Fourth of July Fun

The Fourth of July is just about over. The Leach clan had a great time at Rebel Yell (aka my parent's house) today celebrating the 4th with friends and family. We ate, swam, rode the 4-wheeler, and ate some more. Colin and I just wish we had the rest of the week off rather than having to return to work tomorrow. Today also marks six years since Colin proposed to me on the beach. Addison enjoyed playing with her cousin Laiken today who is just four weeks older. She still loves the 4-wheeler and she is getting more and more excited about table food. When she sees someone sit down with a "real" plate of food, she crawls as fast as she can and begs like a puppy at your feet until you share some with her. She went through several outfits today since she kept spitting up everything that she digested. I think we need to take stock in laundry detergent and stain remover until her reflux subsides a little. She is still trying her best to walk. She does the best when she doesn't think too much about it and just lets go and starts taking steps. The other night she surprised us with 6 or 7 steps. She's getting there. Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th. Let freedom ring!
