17 Months Old

Addison turned 17 months old today. It's so hard to believe that she is almost a year and a half already. We had a busy day and Addison was pretty well-behaved despite being dragged from one place to another. We started off the day going to Jackson to get my brother's birthday present (because of the weather last night, we opted to have dinner in Vicksburg instead of going to Jackson for date night). Luckily, Addison napped once we got home and was in fairly good spirits as we headed to a 40th birthday party for a friend of ours at the Ware House downtown. The Ware House is a chic hotel located in one of the renovated buildings downtown. They have super nice suites tucked neatly in between the downtown shops. Addison had a great time playing with the other children as well as going up and down the stairs in the suite and we were glad that we were able to see what the inside of the suites look like.

Here are a few pics of my big girl from this weekend. She's sporting some new boots in one of the pictures. Even though they are too big, I bought some boots on clearance in Jackson today for her to wear with a costume this weekend for our friend Mary-Beth's rockin' birthday. And of course, she wanted to try them on tonight as we were getting ready for bath. She LOVES her shoes!
