Thursday Hospital Update, Take 2

Well, unfortunately...Landry didn't get to go home from the hospital today. The doctor said if his fever went above 100.4, we'd have to stay and it went up to 100.5 right before we were supposed to leave at 4 p.m. The nurses checked it later and it was 100.7, so we're not sure if it's going back up or just bouncing all over the place. Regardless, the doctor wants to do a fever check during the night and reexamine things in the morning. Colin is staying with him tonight, so that I can spend some time with Addison. We've tried to swap up so that both of us can get a little rest and so that Addison doesn't feel totally abandoned. It's been a very long week! I have had to stay up at the hospital during the day and then spend two nights there as well, so I am wiped out and my resistance is very low at this point. Our six year anniversary is this Sunday, so we're hoping that maybe we'll actually get to celebrate over something other than hospital food this weekend. I'll keep you posted.
