Watermelon Patch

Addison has been running 102 degree fever since early Wednesday morning, so I've had to keep her inside for the past two days so that she doesn't get too hot. However, yesterday afternoon she begged to walk outside for a minute at Nana and Papa's while her daddy was working, so I let her venture through the watermelon patch in the garden. She kept saying, "I want to touch it." The simplicity of summer as a child...walking through a watermelon patch for the first time.
