Addison loves her brother, but sometimes she loves him a little too much and ends up squeezing him too hard or scratching his face. Yesterday before church, she tried to give Landry a hug and her fingernail scratched him beside his eye. It bled and bled and she cried after she saw what happened. Needless to say, we trimmed her nails before church. Unfortunately, brother had to go to church with battle scars. Speaking of church, Addison was so excited about going to church yesterday. We've missed the past two weeks because of their being sick with the fever virus, so she was anxious to go yesterday to see Mrs. Bobbie and her friends. After church, we ate roast and vegetables from the garden at my parent's house and then Colin and Addison attempted to fly a kite in my parent's back pasture. It didn't work so well. They even tried to get on my dad's old lawnmower for help, but that didn't work either. Guess they'll have to try again another day.
