My princess is growing up and moved up to a big girl bed earlier this week. We actually started her out by putting her matresses on the floor last weekend and getting her used to something other than her crib. Yesterday, we went to Miskelly's to purchase the daybed and trundle that we had picked out a few months back. It was definitely a labor of love putting it together, but we finally got it together before bedtime. She is so proud of her "princess" bed as she calls it. After we went to Miskelly's, we went to Backyard Burgers and ate lunch and she was so giddy about getting a new bed and getting to play in the play area all in one day. Doesn't take much to make her happy! Her brudder just loves watching her play. Oh, the things she is teaching him!
